We have a democracy, yet, as we all know, the number of people who get involved, or even vote, is very small. The goal of the Kitchen Table Democracy is to get people involved, discuss political candidates and issues, have them motivate others, and get out the vote. Our approach is to gather around a kitchen table (or any other comfortable setting) periodically to accomplish the above.

Sometimes we invite in speakers, sometimes we screen documentaries, sometimes we organize voter registration drives, or letter writing, or fund raising. Sometimes we just sit and talk about issues.
